Position: Nurse (with expanded role)

Location: CLSC de Parent (9 rue Hôtel de Ville, Parent, Quebec G0X 3P0)

Term of office: from September 22 to October 14, 2025

Shift: Day 7:30am to 4pm, with evening/night duty

Hourly rate: 62$/hour

Accommodation is provided free of charge to the resource.

Travel expenses are reimbursed.

We are looking for a nurse. in an expanded role to join our CLSC team in Parent, Mauricie-et-centre-du-québec.

This position requires careful attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle complex situations with skill and compassion.

Assignment :

• The complete clinical assessment of users (of all ages), often to allow the doctor to make a diagnosis remotely.
• Administration of primary care and interventions according to therapeutic guidelines (several group prescriptions).
• 24/7 emergency management, triage, urgent pediatric, obstetric, adult, and elderly care. .
• Health promotion and involvement in community programs: vaccines, prenatal/infant monitoring, school health, STIs, tuberculosis, etc. .
• Sometimes, travel is required to visit patients (isolated areas, etc.). .
• Administrative tasks related to the CLSC (local training, childcare management, etc.).

Requirement

• DEC diploma in nursing and valid practice permit.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of child care and experience in the field of care for the elderly or people with dementia is an asset.
• Valid CPR
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of patient care.
