Job offer: Nurse or Clinical Nurse

Location: CISSS de la Gaspésie – Chandler Hospital / EMERGENCY

Term of office: From 3 OCTOBER to 3 JANUARY 2026.

Hourly rate: 60$/hour (rate revised downwards from October 19, 2025)

Per diem: 70$ per day worked

Accommodation and travel: covered

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse with experience in Emergency Medicine to join our team in Gaspésie.

Assignment :

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a hospital environment.
• Assess patients' medical and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Use the Epic system to document care and track patient progress.
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding patient health status and needs.
• Participate in case management to ensure continuity of care.
• Train and supervise auxiliary staff, as appropriate.

Requirements:

• DEC diploma in nursing and valid practice permit.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting is strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in critical care, emergency and/or intensive care
• Must perform triage, resuscitation, and observation
• Intensive care: emergency stretcher, retrieval system, resuscitation room, outpatient room
• Recent and relevant experience in the sectors mentioned above
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of patient care.
